Hmm.. At least the movie trailer was good with some nice explosions and action scenes accompanied by a nice music background score.

The movie starts off with an explosion form a commercial 747 over the skies of Hong Kong. It was suspected to be a Y2K incident. Then we see the Republic of Singapore Air Force embarking a series of Y2K compliances tests. Check out their Singaporean slang. Later, we see Singapore Air Force receiving a new package for the latest Y2K update. Upon testing, they discover that it is infected with a latent Y2K bug that can be activated by an external party. Concerned about the situation, they send a top military officer, Ong to Hong Kong immediately.

Hong Kong, Peter (Aaron Kwok) and Benny (Daniel Wu) both run an IT firm that sells Peter's brother's (Greg) software. They are more into playing the software rather than selling it. Peter's brother Greg, is a top IT expert from the States and is a programmer for Y2K solutions. While on holiday, Greg comes back to visit his brother. Later, he finds out that the American company he is working for in Singapore is involved in the 747 incident. After numerous attempts to contact his counterpart in Singapore and US, Greg manages to get in touch with his girlfriend Salina.

Things change quicky the next morning. Both Greg & Peter are arrested by HK police officer Ronald and CIA agent Calhoun; on the charge of the espionage. Further investigations proved them innocent and they are freed. On leaving the police station, Peter witnesses a brutal assassination of his brother Greg by a mysterious killer.

Salina arrives in Hong Kong after hearing the news of Greg's death. Together with Peter, they uncover some clues which brings them to Singapore. Benny & Janet (sister of Benny and love life of Peter) also wants to go to Singapore with hope of unraveling the mystery. All four together face dangers but Salina seemed to have other plans. Little do they know that Singaporean military officer Ong is watching their actions under close security.

The group arrives in Singapore and proceeds to receive Greg's belongings from a bank safe deposit which is a briefcase. Peter keeps the briefcase in a safe at a Hotel they are staying at. Suspicion arrises when Salina steals the briefcase the next morning and makes away. As they quickly chase after her, Peter sees the mysterious killer with Salina. Salina goes to Caulhoun, the mastermind behind the entire scheme. They discover inside the briefcase is actually a diamond necklace and some love letters of Greg to Salina. Later, Peter & gang manages to find the culprits and they take into their hands and with the help of Ong they take down Calhoun and members.

Overall, the action scenes and storyline lacked standard and was very predictable. I guess a lot of people expected Aaron Kwok to be some sort commando guy as potrayed in promotion posters instead he was more of a sales person with some knowledge of fighting and shooting due to playing too much computer games. I'll never ever watch this show again!
